Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I charge my books to my financial aid?
    • Once you have received your award letter and your loans are certified, If you are unsure if your award has been processed or your loans certified, please contact the Financial Aid office. Always check with the Bookstore Staff to ensure you have Financial Aid available before shopping in store.

  • What should I do if I need my books and my financial aid has not gone through yet?
    • In some special cases the business office will issue a voucher to buy your books with. The voucher must be used in the bookstore before the deadline and cannot be used for online purchases.

  • How do I cancel a web order?
    • If the order has not been processed, it can be cancelled. You will need to submit an email with your name and order number. If the order has been processed it can not be cancelled.

  • How do I know when my books are ready to be picked up?
    • You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your order has been received. After the order has been processed the system automatically generates a SECOND email stating your order is ready for pick-up (or has been shipped).

  • What does it mean when my book(s) are placed on backorder?
    • The book(s) ordered are either out of stock or we have not yet received our shipment from the publisher. You will received an email when the book(s) have arrived and your order is processed.

  • Where can I return books I ordered online?
    • All books ordered online can be returned at the Web Department with your ORIGINAL invoice (receipt). PSEO students must return their books to the business office at the end of the semester. However, if a PSEO drops a class the book should be returned to the Web Dept immediately. Do not wait until the end of the semester.

  • Why was my order cancelled?
    • The payment option you selected was declined.
    • You selected NEW or USED only and books are not available.
    • You accidentally cancelled your order, or you emailed us to cancel the order.

  • Can I pick up books for other people (friends or family)?
    • No, unless specified in the SHIP TO option or in the notes field that someone else will be picking up the order for you.  REMINDER  A photo ID is required to pick up!
